We have created a number
of schematic diagrams which show how gasification and
pyrolysis works. These are classic schematics of the processes
which form the basis of gasification and pyrolysis
processes.
Most of these you will also find where we have used
them on this web site. We know that a large number of our
visitors will be carrying out their own gasification study
projects so we have provided these files for you to download
and load in their original formats allowing you to amend
them for your own purposes.
However, we do place two conditions on their use, as
follows:
- You must continue to attribute the work to
the original author by either retaining a reference to the
original author of the paper from which these were
obtained, as in the original file we provide, or elsewhere
in your document
- You retain the web address (url) to our web site on the
version you use.

Direct and Indirect Gasification
The two slides in this file present the
basic schematic diagrams for the Direct and Indirect
forms of the gasification process.

Thermal Conversion
Processes
It is useful to be able to view
gasification in comparison with the other thermal
conversion processes and the slide in this
file provides an overview which allows the reader to
place it in immediate context against the other
processes.
